Medium bodied with bright acidity, this wine has an almost Atlantic freshness that is accentuated after a slight decantation. It is fresh and floral, feels personal and velvety, so much so that if it leads you to think of a Rhone wine, you will be almost right. Winemaker Veronica Ortega has worked with the best in the industry including Raul Perez and Alvaro Palacios, the star winemakers in Bierzo and while Perez and Palacios wines are in the hundreds of USD, Ortega’s wines are quality and good priced for a wine that can age beautifully.
